I must agree. I have pushed for Pico-8 to compile to APK (Android) but it's just not so simple.

Instead Pico-8 runs in these systems called Raspberry PI and these are native to some portable gaming devices but not to Android. Is why they work. ZEP does not have to work very hard to get them to run on Raspberry PI systems.

And I would be the first to want Pico-8 to compile to APK and run smoothly on Android, yet I suspect it is not so simple. You can't demand something and expect results if you don't know the complexity involved in its fruition.

Please be patient. Pico-8 for what it will aspire to be, is not there yet. It might be some time before it runs native APK.

If you want to run Pico-8 on Android currently, you can bring up Lexaloffle in the internet browser for your Android device and on that device play the Pico-8 games from there.

That is what I am currently doing. I love Pico-8 in all its forms and I am glad that ZEP is working diligently on it constantly, working out bugs first, suggestions next, and then ultimately expanding platforms it runs on.

I get being frustrated that it's not available on the devices that you want, but angry? I mean, Zep's not obligated to port Pico-8 to android.

Anyway, we've got the education edition that's usable on Android, but figuring out a solution for the keyboard can be a bit tricky.

Just a request, could my previous post be deleted if someone was upset by it? It being hidden makes it look as though I wrote something awful. All I did was ask an honest and respectful question and point out that Pico-8 Education Edition exists.

But I know you're a good guy. I've definitely seen you around and you have helped me countless times in coding and have produced a bunch of great carts and games and I thank you for that.

As for it being hidden - did Admin do this or can anyone hide a message if they deem it abuse ?
