I would recommend careful thought into what order your code is in. Your code checks if the line will be inside the rectangle in the next visual frame rather than the one that the player is looking at. That means that the player can potentially see the score reset to indicate failure while still seeing the after-image of the line being in the correct spot.
Hey! I like the game. I saw you were missing a hi-score feature. so i fixed it, and added a line around the play area because it looks good. here you go
