Hello.

I want to use the clipboard to paste SFX data to another console as shown in the image below.
With the current (0.2.4b) function of PICO-8, you can only paste SFX data on the same console.
It would be simpler to share sound effects if they could be pasted to the clipboard in a format like
[gfx] wwhhpp... [/gfx)

Can you explain what you mean in a bit more detail? From the image you shared, it looked like you used one copy of PICO-8 running a cartridge to put SFX data on the clipboard, switched over to a different copy of PICO-8, and pasted into an SFX there.

Hi, @packbat

Yes.
You are correct that it looks like putting SFX data in the clipboard and pasting it into another cartridge.
This image is just a trick to make it look like you are doing that.
I am requesting the addition of the Pico-8 feature so that I can actually do that.

I apologize if my translation software makes it difficult for you to understand what I'm writing...!

Oh! I didn't realize that was impossible in PICO-8 - I knew that full SFX could be copied, but I thought that partial SFX could also be copied. I'm in favor of making that possible, too.
