Using sset won't have any effect but yes meddling with the voxel data at runtime is against the rules.

Hmm... i'm messing with the voxel data too but that's mainly for making the screen green when off and black when on.
The voxels only change between on/off and not in runtime so i hope i'm not breaking any rule. ;)
Also for fanciness made led blink and switch flip (can remove that if doesn't comply).

PS: Wasn't aware that Mozz did a GB skin because started my project yesterday in the morning. :/

Oh yours looks great!

@JustBurner: ... ok for the screen color when it's off. But no for the led and the switch. I wish I could let you keep that but I'm trying to be fair with the rules because someone has to! :P
By the way, it's beautiful!!!

@Mozz & @TRASEVOL_DOG: Thanks! ;)

@TRASEVOL_DOG: Actually forgot to mention but the led and switch are only set on init/shutdown too, added that so the model doesn't look like it's ON when in reality is off (it was upsetting me a bit during development).
Anyway i've disabled the gimmick until the jam is over, so no problem. ;)

[0x0]

tv_transparency_col =11
tv_screen_height = 12

A bit modest but it serves its purpose. Now I actually have to think up a game.

the legs are a nice touch :3

I'm trying to reskin the TV but I need to move the screen 2 pixels to the right. Is it against the rules?

P#36013 2017-01-18 11:18 ( Edited 2017-01-18 16:18)

It's more about it not being implemented in the base cart. :/ I'd prefer you don't move the screen left and right, sorry. :X

If you think you can handle an even smaller screen though, you could just hide the left border of the screen.

P#36021 2017-01-18 12:50 ( Edited 2017-01-18 17:50)

:/

I wanted to make a B/W retro TV, with buttons on the left and the screen on the right. But i'll revise my design to have a centered screen (or at least, I'll try :p)

Hey, I know I'm late to the Tiny-TV jam but I wanted to share my Tiny Crane!

It's ok if I don't participate. I just wanted to thank you for making this really cool Jam possible. I'm really impressed by most of the entries.

Thanks!

I dunno if this is the place to say this in, but I'm wondering about the rating system.
If I hit say... 7th star on one entry, then realize I really wanted to give it 6, it'll still have both the 7th and the 6th star, does this mean anything? Do I have to unclick the 7th star if I want it to be 6 or what?
I'm confused.

P#36557 2017-01-24 08:20 ( Edited 2017-01-24 13:20)

I'm really happy you anjoyed it Mozz! :D

Thank you for your late entry inCreative and sadly no, it can't participate to the jam because it was uploaded after the deadline. :/ But thank you anyway for making a thing! :)

Add, yes you have to unclick the 7th star if you want to rate the game a 6. The way it works is that the highest star clicked is the one that counts. :)
