Here is your game, @pbes-studio, in English.
I played your game. Your hitbox is pretty wide. You get messages even if you aren't very close to the other employees.
If you like I can fix this so your hitbox requires an employee to touch you, but then again that might be part of the fun is not knowing how wide the hitbox is for an employee.
Won the game with a score of 314. You certainly do have that cup of coffee well hidden. :)
Gold star work.
@dw817 thanks a lot for the trad it's really cool. For the update, you know we want to keep the game like it is cause it's a 24 hours game in a game Jam. We are working on an other version with some features cause we have a lot of ideas that we don't have time to make in the game. But if you want to make a version of i need coffee by dw817 it's ok for us, you can make a remake or a remaster if you want...we are very curious to play it.
Oof. I don't know if I want to write my whole version. I can program pretty lousy at times. :)
I'm thinking now, perhaps you don't have a hitbox but a line of sight ? That is if the employee SEES you, that is they are moving in your direction and you are in their line of sight - that is when they react ?
Playing it again.
No, that's not it.
Alright I need to tutor today but will return later to see your hitbox routine and see if I can tighten it up some.
Oh, I see now what you are doing. You are checking the AREA just outside the employee.
Here is your game where you MUST touch the employee to register a hit. I think I like your "area" method above more though. It is more challenging to not just avoid being hit by the other employees but to stay out of their field of influence additionally.
