This is my take at making a splatoon-ish game... tried very hard to make bullets change the colour of the ground but doesn't seem to work. If you guys feel like checking out the code and improving it please go ahead :) I did reference some other game cartridges for code.

PS: gets a little laggy due to high number of "monster" floors.

I got the weapon to work somewhat.
It's not 100% but you can ink the tiles now.
Hope that helps.
BTW to take a snapshot press F7 or on a laptop sometime it's function key + F7 :)
