Combat:
Enemies roll 2d6 + attack and if that beats the hero's defense it deals a wound
Heroes have 2 hp (not wounded and wounded)

interact use 1 die to interact
warrior
axe use a 5/6 to deal 1 dmg
upgrades
sharp axe: deals 2 dmg
slippers +1 move
berserk: axe can now use 4s
fighter
stab use a 1-2 to deal 1 dmg, range 2
upgrades
thrust range 3
armor +1 def
mend can heal another hero if the die value is greater than their def
ranger
bow use 2/3/4 to shoot 1 dmg at die range. can't use if moved this turn
upgrades
slip free move 3 per turn that still lets you shoot bow
mix combine 2 dice
hawk requires dbls, screech lowers enemy attack
mage
meditate use 1 die to roll 2 mana. mana can only use be used for spells/golem
fireball use doubles, range is X. friendly fire
swap swap with someone within X (can use multiple die)
upgrades
manastone gain 1 permanent mana die
golem a tank unit that can use mana for its move. punch freely but upon attacking loses 2 def
zap 2 dice. bigger - small for range to do 1 dmg

chests give upgrades based on the die used for interacting

3-4 slippers......armor............mix.............golem
5-6 berserk.......mend.............hawk............zap
shrines also use the die value for praying
1 purple die (single use)
2-3 heal
4-5 random upgrade (if duplicate fails)
6 revives a dead hero at the shrine
