Congrats on a finishing a game. It's not bad for a beginner's work. It is a little on the cheap side for my taste (I prefer jumping challenges that don't require figuring out how the code works), though.

I think the jump boxes are too hard to figure out though. That could use some in-game clarification. I also would've preferred if getting all 5 of the yellow boxes didn't just result in a sign with the same message as earlier.

For another else who can't figure it out, the dark blue boxes are used to get a mid-air jump, but you have to still be holding jump when you interact with them to get the extra jump to activate.

the "orb" implementation definitely was kinda lazy, i shoulda just made the player jump normally when they interact with them

Edit: i think it was to add extra "challenge" but it ended up just being annoying

the "coins" are kind of optional challenges, you can leave one be and still go through with the rest of the game, but if you want an extra challenge you can go for the last "note".

i feel like the only thing i clarified the name of in-game was the notes
