I did label it a #wip, added power ups, so less minimalist 6 sprites and 3 sounds effects :-D

Your game reminds me a good old one called, "Star Dance."

The goal of this timed game is to score as many points as possible by opening hatches to catch suns that bounce back and forth between two grids. By pressing the "Nova" button the player can also destroy the bouncing suns. As the play progresses the grids move closer together.

@dw817 Wow, really cool to see! I love old arcade cabinet games. Especially the rare ones. There were a lot of games and game design ideas tested there.

Its exciting to see people find similarities to my games. Especially ones that I've never even played or heard about.

Sure thing, @AddiekinStudio ... Despite its 3D appearance, I think you can fudge some vectors to get a similar appearance.

Yeah you can always do the projection maths for simple sets of lines like that, even without all the matrix math involved.

Are you making a clone? Would love to see one done. As for Star Collector, its a different game. Though I am going for a bit of an arcade feel. Its need some aesthetics added, and more power-ups, sound fxs and other goodies.

We do not have a Sun Dance cart written for Pico-8 yet.

I think the grid is not perfect so some vectors could be adjusted - I basically did it by viewing the original.

@dw817 Hey thanks, if I ever get the urge to try a port I'll keep this in mind.

I added a bit of polish and fixes, I've probably mis categorized the game. Feedback welcome!
