Loong Triune

The three legendary dragons are in dire need of sustenance to keep protecting our world. Collect each dragon's designated food, star fragments, and return to their portal before running out of energy. Play through 9 unique levels to satiate their needs and keep our world in balance.

Controls

X - Select a dragon to control
Z - hold to move quickly
Left - Turn CCW
Right - Turn CW

Cover image designed by Lacey Haight. The rest of the game was created by jblend.
Loong Triune was created 10 minutes at a time over the course of a couple years with long breaks in between.
Each stage's background was created using a picotron tool called Vec8.
This is my first publicly released game. I hope you enjoy it!

Finally finished! The large background images are tasteful and enhance the worldview.

Overall it is very well put together, but the difficulty level was one of the hardest of the BBS games I've played so far.

Elements such as clouds that block visibility and smoke that absorbs energy are good ideas individually, but in a game where you're constantly moving, it felt like avoiding them randomly approaching you was heavily dependent on luck.

Congrats! And thank you for the feedback! I think those are fair critiques. It's always hard to know just how difficult it really is.

One thing to note to help others is that the smoke/void enemies travel a looped path and they only hurt if they touch a dragon's head, so if you avoid stopping in their path, you should be okay. Definitely still challenging though :)
