My first steps within pico-8. I started 1 year ago, but had to do a break.
Highscore is inspired from Commando ;)
Actually I am looking into enemy movement and a better highscore table
(highscore saving is missing)

A simple and very satisfying game to play. The difficulty curve is nice and keeps the formations feeling fresh even when they repeat!
The only small issue is that it seems that the shots aren't removed between stages, allowing for a few cheap shots. It isn't game breaking though.
