you need to ctrl-v before you can use an external clipboard as stamp:

open 2 new pico8 instances

in one:

• copy sprite 0 (ctrl-v)

in the other:

• click on the stamp icon (stamp from clipboard) -> the stamp is still empty
• ctrl-v -> sprite is correctly pasted AND registered as the stamp
