This is something I made really quick. Its inspiration comes from all the BBS levels where there is an "NPC" that is really just part of the environment. Killing these fake NPCs (really does anyone not blast them to voxel pieces?) really reminded me of Obi-Wan Kenobi's death. So after learning the basics of the editor I created this in about 30 minutes. This is the first map I've actually made and is incredibly sloppy/rough. It also features the first character model I ever made. I've never done pixel art before so quite frankly the models really suck. I mean REALLY suck. Please feel free to make this better. I like my idea, but I hate my work.

Despite only having seen some Star Wars parodies and not the original trilogy, I still lol'd after playing your level. Very creative idea! The execution is great too. I'd love to see this expanded into a full-fledged level.

Thanks! I'm glad somebody enjoyed it. I would love to see an expanded level as well, but I'm not the person to do it. I could probably learn the editor a bit more and make the characters look nicer to the point where I'm happy with it, but I'm really busy with school. I'm sure there will be plenty more Star Wars themed levels that are actually complete and not a silly idea.........unless of course Star Wars is perhaps losing popularity in recent years.

When I tried this before reading the description I was confused but now when I read this, really nice idea. I made a model for you that you can use/edit and do what you want with. I put it on your map, just to see how it looks like, without uploading it to the BBS.

My model turned out okay, tried to make his cape move too.

I always use the fox character as a base for my models, makes it easier I think.

Hey that is pretty good. I completely forgot about a cape! I used a Lego Darth Vader as my reference and I probably ate the cape when I was a kid. Good job. If I had your permission, and someone could tell me how, I could re-upload it with your character model. Is there a way to "patch" your BBS levels?

Edit:One thing though: I made Obi Wan and Darth a little bigger than normal characters so it would look less cartoonish. Since you used the fox model he looks a little short :)

Thanks, I tried atleast.

Sure, you have my permission, and someone on twitter asked how to update levels and the answer is here

I did notice your charater was bigger but the reason I did him like this was because of the measurements, so he wont shoot from his stomach or something, if you would wanted to use him without light saber. I actually quite like it like this but I can understand that not everybody does.
