I know Pico-8 is not open source, but if I were given the opportunity to try to fix a bug on say the Pico-8 raspberry pi build and submit a pull request on a private repository, I would gladly do so, for free.

Good question!

I think I've heard the plan is for PICO-8 to eventually go open source, or at least make the source available to license owners.

..But I don't have a source for my information.

There are just too many bugs(no window mode, keybord layout, click through window on desk.) in pico8 for raspi, it would really help to opensource it.

But I totally agree I would love to submit pull requests for PICO-8, I don't think I've ever felt stronger motivation to do that for any other software, but sadly the opportunity is not available.
