Hello, i would like to make a simple post that i need a support, now i recently purchased a Humble Voxatron Debut, then i downloaded Voxatron and running the game... the problem is:

"Brutal Lag while is fullscreen"

Yes, it's bigger lag it looks like 1 FPS but more like frozen screen that's really unplayable to me, but it's only fullscreen, there a exception about the window mode goes everything is fine, it shows 50 FPS text is from options panel. It's not big deal.

My PC specs are:

Intel Pentium Dual Core 2.0ghz
2 GB Ram
ATI X1600 PRO Radeon 512 MB
Windows XP 64 Bit Pro (Windows Server 2003)

That's odd. I'm running a single core P4 @ 2.4ghz on WinXP pro (not 64 bit). 1.5 gigs of DDR and a geforce fx5200.
I get around 30fps and I run it at 800x600 fullscreen. (no AA and hard shadows)

Video card shouldn't matter since Voxatron uses a software renderer. Then again, I'm not zep.

it sounds like a driver thing. But if your drivers are up to date, (or don't want to mess with them), try turning off Direct X support. In the same folder as the game is installed, look for windib 0 in config.txt and change it to windib 1.

Im fine when i play the game but i get a medium amount of lag when im in editor :(

I followed the post by zep, i changed windib 0 to windib 1, then i opened Voxatron.exe, the game is running... very well, there no lag spikes and brutal lag while it's fullscreen. :) It was 50 FPS. Thank you! my thread is solved.

The game runs fine for me as well, but when I'm in the editor I get a respectable amount of lag. Any ideas? Would the above strategies help with this?
