My contribution to the jam as it stands day 1. The idea was to use the fact that the TV has this cube-like shape and try to play a little bit with rotations and viewing a 3d-object through these dead-on 2d views, in the vein of Fez. I'm pretty happy about how the door transitions ended up! I'd like to add some more doors in the future.

You control the green-shirted protagonist with the arrow keys:

  • Left & Right, for movement
  • Up, for doors
  • Down, for crouching

Kindle the fire!

Very cool idea! Would love to see more.

First impressions - I was very impressed with the feel of the music and (particularly) sound effects, it was a little visually confusing initially, but this is probably more due to the standard interpretation lag of a 10 x 11 pixel space! Nice furnace!

a fantastic sense of "space" in such a small screen format, though I was kind of expecting a jump scare at any time :P (thank you for not doing that haha)

Really interesting concept! I do hope you add more doors. Really neat little idea! I included it in my compilation video series of the Tiny TV Jam games, if you’d like to take a look :)
