I don't know if this is possible or if I categorized it correctly.

Basically, I need to make a person move, but not be controlled by the player and not be an enemy. Is there a way to make a character move by itself in-game? I think I saw this once, but I could be wrong.

Also, is there an easier way to do text/speech than positioning each letter perfectly?

Check out this playlist. It has a tutorial on using fonts and making monsters.

To make a monster into NPC you need to put it on same team as player
and give it movement control. You can also turn off attack damage.

Thank you so much! I don't have time to test it right now, but I'll let you know soon how it goes! :)

Okay, I have questions.

  1. Can you make the NPC fight against monsters without being controlled by the player?

  2. Can you make the text/font stand on end (instead of just being flat on the ground)?

To answer your questions:

  1. Yes, NPCs can fight against monsters, but the NPCs will not go after monsters, if that makes sense. (The monsters will only damage each other if they're on different teams) Video tutorial

  2. To flip the text, press left shift and the R button. (This might be wrong)

Thank you! For the text, I meant that I wanted it to stand up ('cause it's naturally lying on the ground). Shift + R just makes it rotate. But the NPC worked. Again, thank you for your help! :)
