That's so old school, I love it! :)

You should add the column/line number like the one Nintendo used in the day, especially when you have to tell Pico-8 on the pixel level :)

Awesome, thanks! Much better than the one I made for myself

A grid marked in tens feels so strange.

I wish were all of those shortcuts were somewhere in a help overlay or something.

edit: I just counted it, and it's even stranger!

@tyroney Huh? Every screen is 16x16 cells, can't see anything strange about that.

They are not in 10 but X Y

0 0 mean X = 0, Y = 0
1 0 mean X = 1, Y = 0
0 1 mean X = 0, Y = 1
4 2 mean X = 4, Y = 2

as this:
------> X

v
Y

I think it's just my crappy printer but when I print this out, the grid lines don't all print...some do in some squares, others done. I just think my printer has crappy resolution.

edit - so they're screens, gridded in tiles. I assume it felt weird because I still haven't space-dragged much, so I don't think of that subdivision much.

I suppose I should use this as an excuse to map something out.

@morningtoast Yeah, that might happen if your printer's old.
I printed it out on an A4, and it looks just fine.

Try this version, I made the lines a bit thicker and more visible.
