An entry into Ludum Dare 35, made in about 7 hours.
The theme was Shapeshift - Tetrift between the different Tetris shapes to clear both lines with just one piece! Use Z and X to change piece and Left and Right to move. Up is rotation and Down drops the piece faster.
Pretty fun game! I haven't got past 25 yet, but I feel like with some practice one could be quite good at this.
Realy nice, it become realy hard around 24. Is the shape to fill chosen completly at random or from a rotating list. I think the latter could make the game more balanced. Having a better mix of hard and easy case.
Thanks for the comments! 25 is my max score too, it becomes an absolute nightmare when the speed reaches its max at 24. I think you only get 3 frames at that point before the block drops 1 level!
The pieces are in fact on a rotating list. I tried adding the previews in the top right to show what the next piece on Z or X is, but it's hard to play and look at it at the same time, so it's not that useful!
