Void Requiem
A bullet hell roguelike with upgrades.
You pilot a small orange spaceship through endless space filled with enemies and danger. Absorb enemy bullets to charge up your weapons. But, if you let your energy gauge overflow, you're the one taking the damage.
Defeat enemies to gain XP, level up, and choose from a set of upgrades to customize your run.

Fun times! I love upgrades.
Some thoughts:
- Shotgun is good up close, but enemies never come closer than half the screen, so it's never good, even with all the upgrades. The random pellet spread makes it extra frustrating, because it will often just miss everything in front of you and there's nothing you can do.
- Grenade is super fun, but maybe too powerful? With a few upgrades you can wipe an entire wave, including a boss, with one shot and a bit of luck.
- Pierce and Split synergize badly with pretty much every weapon, as far as I can tell. With Cannon and Gatling, it splits at the top of the screen, so it's less likely to hit enemies. With Shotgun, it seems to break entirely and almost never splits. With Grenade it's not bad since Grenade explodes in the middle regardless, but it's still a small delay before kill the tougher enemies. Might be better to make those two a trade-off, you can have one or the other.
