A build of the game with options mainly to test the gameplay.

Controls

Use the arrows to move in 4 directions by one grid. To jump, press Z and then direction to jump over the pits.

Rules

Collect as much gold as possible while avoiding pits. Each collected gold spawns more pits.

The core movement here feels pretty good; I can definitely see all sorts of ways you could add to the gameplay here. Keep up the great work!

Tried it with non-stop mode, @Sledge, and got a score of 24.

Reminds of some of the early QBasic games that came out. Really quite fun, gold star. I never did jump anything to get that score.

Fun game! I like the jumping mechanic as it needs to be precise, which adds some difficulty. I got to 60 points before I couldn't find a path over to the other side. Is there supposed to be music? I don't hear any if so, but I thought I'd let ya know.
