With the release of Picotron to the digiverse, I feel as though the general consensus is to upgrade from less to MORE:

More sprites
More data
More map (extra files even!)
More detailed sound/music

But what I want to know is: in your opinion, does Picotron possess a comparable level of features to Pico-8 at this point in time?

Is the jump to Picotron recommended yet?

I decided to test out a cutscene, by loading an IRL apple into Pico 8.
It's for a new project that'll have short clips for getting items.

I made a top down shooter in 650 bytes. Nothing incredible, but I'm pretty chuffed.
It has 8-d movement, strafing and randomly spawned enemy waves.

Arrows to move/aim, z to shoot, hold z to strafe.

--edit: fixed spawn rate for 'Z'.

I made a math game about extrapolation. You know 'A', but not 'B'. Solve the random equation to find 'B', then determine if 'B' > 'A'. Answer correctly for a point.

If you've played Flathead, this is very familiar. A demake, even.
