It took a while, but I completed it.

I was able to walk off this screen to the right, and enter an endless black void. The only way to recover was to move to the left until I died with a message about "Out of Bounds!!!"

There is some clever level design here, especially the ways that remembering a room layout can help layer. However closely spaced spikes like this felt unfair, even after passing them. I was never quite sure about how to time my jumps and got through more through randomness than through practice.

The mushrooms were fun because the first area with them gave the chance to explore how they work. Could you make similar areas for the portals and acceleration tiles, so the player can experiment with these tools before needing to use them while surrounded by spikes and fireballs?

Looking at other cartridges you've uploaded, you're learning fast, and I'll be interested to see where you go with this.

I agree about the closely placed spikes. It definitely takes some luck to get past them. And giving the player some time to experiment is a great idea as well.
