This is not very refined yet. I basically just did this tutorial https://ztiromoritz.github.io/pico-8-shooter/ while throwing in a few of my own ideas.
This is basically just an attempt to get started with something so my kids can draw some new sprites and maybe try modifying the code, or making music and sfx. Perhaps eventually they'll learn some code from it.
