How about adding a gallery :
Before generating the screen, peek the random seed (the 8 bytes at 0x5f44)
Saving to the gallery would be copying the 8 bytes to the cartdata.
Loading from gallery would be copying a seed from the cartdata to 0x5f44 and displaying as usual.
256/8=32 images savable to the gallery.

Very cool! This could inspire some interesting labrynthian level-generation...
