A fun little demake project I've been working on based on the game Motherload I played a bunch with my friends as a kid lol. Pretty barebones as is. If you have any ideas or notice any glitches or bugs let me know!
@lordofdutch fun indeed and I like its simplicity. I was about to deplete all the ores when I noticed a gold one that was apparently unreachable: the block of gold was under a 'bell-shaped' roof of hardrock (about to smip it to make a scrshot then I forgot fuel was running even when idle lol).
You get full upgrades quite too soon; is there an ending?
Also yeah you've probably noticed, when the x of the driller is in a certain spot between two tiles, you're drilling downward then drill to the left: you create a hole on 2 tile on the left while blocked by the tile your x is overlapping (/8 rounding issue to tweak I guess).
