I asked ChatGPT to give me some Pico-8 game ideas, and it came up with this... HackerByte. I was looking to make some kind of puzzle game, like a Block Blast demake or something, but when I saw this idea I really took off with it. I don't think I will update THIS game, but please find bugs or give me ideas for extra puzzles or other things for HackerByte 2!

Gameplay

When you open the terminal menu, there will be a selection of three nodes. Each node has the same kind of puzzle, but of increasing difficulty. Select a node then press X to load it. Your objective is to locate the target hex, and inject it with a virus. Select a hex and either scan or inject. Press X to scan, then the system will tell you how close you are to the target. Press Z to inject the virus. You must locate the target hex without being traced, or it is game over. If you scan a Fire Wall, the tracing speed is increased. Inject on the wrong tile, and you will be traced completely.

Wow this was really fun! The concept is super intuitive, and finding the node felt satisfying every time! Please expand on this concept, you have something really cool here!
