Update 15/06/25: Added additional level and new cover image. Fixed damage calculation when enemy is on tile bonus tile (tree/mountain.)

How to play:
Controls:
D-Pad/directional arrows - Select tile
X - Confirm choice
O/Z key - Cancel
Rules:
Use the directional arrows/D -pad to put the in-game cursor on a character to view their stats. X will open up a menu of commands for the playable characters (heroes).
Each turn, each character can move up to one time and use either their attack or special (if available) up to one time. Unlike most tactics games, you may take these actions in any order you like.
Once per level each hero can use a special move, which will deal its attack damage to all enemy characters in range (marked with a red square.) You must select an enemy in range to confirm the attack.
Trees/mountains provide a defense multiplier Tile Bonus (TB), which will half any incoming damage for any character placed on that tile.
Once you've finished your turn, select one of your characters and choose "End" to begin the enemy turn.
The game finishes when either all enemies are defeated or all heroes are defeated.



Looks really interesting. You are quite close to reaching the character limit, so i am curious what else you can fit in






@LuckieNoob @yegoga thanks! I’ve spent the last few days optimizing the code to fit more in. I’ve figured out a way to add dozens more levels in :) I’ll post an update once I make a few more!



Really really love this. Would love some instructions in your forum post since I’m assuming you’re at code limit so adding a tutorial into the first level probably isn’t feasible.
