What in the world has happened in the game?

I got mogged and swas'ed 8 in Ohio ??? Couldn't figure out an single text line nor what the two bars were (maybe life for the red one on the right ?) Assumed red=bad, other shinies=good , but played in a frenzied confusion until I got "mogged" ...

Yes it's a reskin and difficulty mod as the rates of health and mushrooms are different
