Conflux is an ecological action game. The player takes control of a powerful peacock-like creature
that has the ability to mould the landscape and control plant and animal life. The world of Conflux
is a rich fabric of interactions between organisms, the player and the environment. It's possible
to play in the style of a traditional brute-force shooter, but to do well a bit of finess is required;
exploring how to cultivate a rich ecosystem that is manageable and that can be harvested for
points.
Conflux is currently in development for Windows, Mac OSX, and Linux. Join the newsletter to find
out when the game is released. For now here's some footage of an early prototype showing several features: a list of active species on the left
that allows the player to keep track of population sizes, flocking behaviour, local gravity, time manipulation and plants that spread to other
planets by seed distribution.
