Hi,

I have built a handheld console with a Raspberry Pi3, a 3,5" screen and a little bluetooth keyboard. I call it "PICO8 Real Console". I want to use it in spare time playing and editing code to learn and improve my coding skills.

If you want a complete tutorial it is in Instructables and Hackaday.

Enjoy!

That is cool! Have you tried developing something on the thing? It would probably help with scope creep :D

No, I don't develop nothing yet. I will need some time to learn LUA but I'm interested. Regards

Wow! That's awesome). Does this device have speakers?

No at the moment, but I will use a little old speaker to have sound. It will be in the right side, connected to audio jack. This jack has video too and I don't have clear the right place to solder. This step is in standby.
I'm very busy with my job now but in the short term I will solve this problem and also add 3dprinted handle. Regards.

It seems to me that with the speaker connected to the device it will not be portable. As far as I know, raspberry pi has Bluetooth. So you can also use wireless earbuds or headphones.

Yes, BT is another option. Anyway I will try with the speaker. When I have some result I will publish here.
