Hi,
Just bought an RGB30 as the screen looked great for Pico-8 games. It came with just two options showing 'Splore' and 'splore'. Neither would run. OS is JELOS

I then followed some youtube advice and downloaded the raspberry pi version of Pico-8 into the Pico-8 rom folder. This gave me a third option called lexaloffle-pico8. This now loads Pico-8, but finishes with a command prompt error "cannot load lexaloffle-pico-8.png"...oh and I made the mistake somehow of deleting Splore.png and splore.png.

HELP!!

Did you get help? I am in the same boat right now and one step from factory-resetting my JelOS

Okay for any future noobs like me. Here's what worked for me even without Splore.png

you need to create a blank text file named “zzzsplore.p8” and place it in the /storage/roms/pico-8 folder. You will see this in the games list and will directly launch Splore for you.

Still looking for the Original Splore.png, but this got me unblocked.

@DarrinP any chance you're running Linux? Because I had problems with my RGB30 and that's what it ended up being for me. There was a permissions problem with the pico-8 folder on my TF2 card. I installed Pico-8 to the TF1 card then copied that over as root onto my TF2 and that fixed my issue. I know it's a long shot but thought I'd mention it.
