I have been working on this game for a loong time, my first game. started with a tutorial from Spacecat, then i learned lots from the Nerdy teachers! and received his help and from Achiegame dev,over at nerdy teachers discord server, i also learnt from lots of tutorials from different persons(for example doc_robs for the parallax and the collisions) wich i could not still make them work at all cases TT__TT . its my very frist time programming in Lua (and i have forgotten all i learnt of c# for unity in the past,im just a 2d artist/animato/graphicDesigner that aches to make cute little games) i also struggled lots to make the music(LOTS XD i have no idea of music theory,hope to learn).

i will release this as is but im annoyed for the collisions and the way the gap between sunflowers changes abruptly.i attempted a timer so it occurs off screen but alas ,does not work. maybe someday i could review and correct the issues.

i had so much fun making this!!

i also must tell i asked lots of questions to chatgpt, it teached me how to debug,how to detect if an end was missing or eneded to be erased. how counters work, how to apporach the use of particles, and gave me words so i could search the proper tutorials. i sued as a dictionary teacher fo sorts,tried to write the code by myslef, but hwen things got tricky with the pollens lol they corrected my code a bit.but i used a if i had a friend to ask explanations about things. after this i will keep learning from tutorials before attempting any other game but im happy i learnt so mcuh with this one.

i put a special end! you need to gather 12 pollens and go home :3

have fun!(yeah, i know its a flappy bird clone TT__TT someday i will make original things but i game it my best!<3)

This is my first attempt of making anything,following the tutorial of the ghost that gathers soda cans by spacecat on you tube. im sure i learnt how to add sounds from other yourtuber.

i figured out how to make the tail follow the body until i saw you could make sprites of more than one suqare buwich is in this verisonas i could not do for it to adapt to other directions(as well the sides lol) but i hate this systema i need the hitbox to be in the middle of the mouse not the middle of both stail and body.

im no programmer, so i will surely come back to this and make a proper game someday,when i have learnt more.
(also,i really wanto to make something similar to a board game known as comequeso in my country, were you gather cheeses by pushing them into your home(it involves magnets in a stick to guide the mouses from below the board)

but this will be uploaded now as a memento of the fun i had my first time using pico8!
Hope someday i get to make my own ideas but for now i will follow tutorials,learn and give them my twist(be reskin or more)
