I wanted to present a small game that we made during gamejam GRAWITACJA 2023 in less than 36 hours. The keywords we drew (in polish) were 'laska' (babe/chick) and 'salon' (salon).

In an attempt to combine these keywords into a coherent whole, we constructed a small beauty salon in which you have to draw a beautiful eyebrow to the girl who brought you her dream design. Unfortunately, you are a novice salon owner and the only painting tool you have, allows you to draw triangles. Any mathematician knows that every possible shape can be constructed from triangles, so good luck. Drawing eyebrows has never been so confusing and so annoying.

Beat your own scores as the game stores your best achievements in each level.
The game has 10 eyebrow models to redraw on 3 difficulty levels:
On 'easy' we can see our progress on the template and see our mistakes.
On 'normal' we see the eyebrow template, but we don't see our mistakes.
On 'hard' we only see the template for the first 5 seconds and then it appears every 5 seconds for a moment.

The game took first and also last place, as it was the only entry in the PICO-8 category.
We are proud :)

Robbo is a classic arcade game released for the Atari XL/XE computers in 1989 by the Polish studio LK Avalon. The game was designed by Janusz Pelc, and the gameplay is focused on solving puzzles and using logic to find the best path through each level. The game was praised for their unique and appealing design, and remains a beloved classic that has been ported to many other systems over the years. I believe that every platform deserves a port of this game, and a few weeks ago I realized that there is no port for the Pico-8.

I ported the full original version of the game, consisting of all 56 levels. I tried to keep the resemblance to the original version as close as possible. This was quite difficult with the lower resolution, different pixel proportions and square screen, but my advantage was the higher number of colors - 16. I also added some title music, there was none in the original version. It took me a few weeks, and I'm quite pleased with the result.

The game can be difficult for casual players, especially at higher levels. You can activate cheat mode in the pico menu. In cheat mode you can use special keys to make the game easier:
A - gives you ammunition
L - gives you a life
S - gives you a bolt
K - gives you a key
, i . - switches levels up and down

I hope you enjoy the game and maybe some of you will still remember it.

This game port was released on Forever 2023 8-bit demoparty, in Wild Compo.

Hi, this is my simple racing game written 5 years ago.
The game is inspired by Lotus and other well-known titles form 8-16 bit era.
It won the game compo on WAPniak party in 2017. I hope you will enjoy it.
