candyleader [Lexaloffle Blog Feed] Headless Headless Mode <p>Hi,</p> <p>I was absolutely ecstatic to see we can now run pico-8 headless. Working on that tiny canvas is really exciting for me to make some twitter bots or something!</p> <p>The problem is, not really surprisingly, it isn't &quot;truly&quot; headless. That is to say running on a headless OS results in an expected SDL error.</p> <p>I was wondering if anyone had any tricks to get it running headless. For my processing twitter bot I used... xvfb? Animations and the like.</p> <p>v0.1.1</p> <p>Player and enemies now have animation.<br /> Enemies collide with each other, it's a bit janky right now though.</p> <p>v0.2.0</p> <p>Rocks can be pushed multiple times!</p> <p>Known Issues:</p> <p>Enemy collision is a bit weird.<br /> Sometimes rocks can spawn where rocks already are and this causes problems.<br /> Framerate seems to take a dive when so many rocks are on screen. </p> Wed, 12 Apr 2017 08:09:54 UTC
