You're stuck on an island with a cow and you're starting to get really hungry...

Walk around an island, find sticks and stones and break a cow's bones with them. Then cook up your fresh steak to settle your grumbling tummy!

This was an entry for ludum dare 45 and can be voted on here and can also be played on my itch.io page.

The Player

You play as this orange shirted guy; the camera follows the middle of him and your mouse.

Picking up Sticks and Stones

You pick up sticks, stones, and your tools by walking over them.

Crafting

Pressing (X) will open the crafting menu, where you can click on an item on the left side of the screen to craft with the materials you've picked up.

Spear Tossing

While you have the spear, holding the mouse button will start a "swing aim". Let go to have the spear fly in the direction the yellow line is pointing. Once your spear lands, it will be able to be picked up again by walking over it.

Equipment

You can only carry one tool at a time, pressing (O) will drop your currently held one allowing you to pick the other up.

Rocket's Red Glare

A relatively small cartridge I made in a couple of days for the #p8jam2.
The theme was Chain Reaction and this is what I came up with: Exploding explosive circles.

Use arrow keys to move the cursor and Z to fire a rocket.

You are given 5 rockets and a task of destroying all 32 circles. (Bonus points for not using all rockets!)

Update 1.1
I almost forgot to update this, but I added some music and made the rocket explode so that if the crosshairs aren't directly over a circle, you still can get a chain reaction going.

If I have time, there are a few more things I would like to add:
Score - so that time can be a factor along with destroying all circles
Better circles - something like meteors or spaceships
Music - to fill the long pauses of no sfx
Explosive Rockets - instead of just missing, will create an explosion at the point shot
