Haunted Heist! v.1.1

How to play:

You are a burglar trying to steal money in a haunted castle. After you've got a certain amount of money, you are allowed to climb down to the shop to buy upgrades.

Tips:

Don't get lost in the castle!
Grab as much money as you can!
You can customize your character in the start

How to play

Pick up passengers with X
Drop them off with X
The shop is located in the upper left corner - go there to buy upgrades
The game ends once you get $1000!

Get as many coins as possible while the red balls chase you!

Controls:

Aim - Left/Right
Power - Up/Down
Shoot - X
Faster cue - Z/C

Updates:

version 1.0.1:

Made the cue rotate faster if you hold Z/C
Made the enemies spawn on the opposite side of the screen from the player
Fixed a spelling mistake on the label
Made the first enemy spawn when the first coin is grabbed (then they spawn for every fifth coin)

Fixed a bug that made the first enemies, after you restart, spawn after the fifth coin

A game where you try to knock the other soap off the ice block

I tried my best to implement more interesting things such as power ups and different levels, but I gave up. I might update it sometime, but probably not.

Thanks to everyone in the Pico8 discord who gave me suggestions!

The collision is a bit janky sometimes

This is the first game i have made in pico8. I know that the code is really messy, and most of the variables are in swedish so good luck making remixes!

If you win a round, you get to keep the money you earned, if you lose the round you dont get to keep them. After each round you win, you have the ability to buy upgrades. There are also a few pick-ups during the rounds

The enemy gets faster and faster!

The controls are pretty self explanatory, move the arrows to steer the paddle
