I'm currently working on a minigame collection in the vein of Pokmon Stadium for N64. Progress has been slower than anticipated due to a deluge of 'real' work, but I'll continue to update this thread as the games get completed. At the moment, the first minigame (Dig! Dig! Dig!) is working and the second (Pico-san Says!) is well on its way.

The game supports four players, and I'm hoping the finished product will be a great companion to three friends and some beers!

Stay tuned!
https://www.lexaloffle.com/bbs/?tid=2782 https://www.lexaloffle.com/bbs/?tid=2782 Mon, 16 Nov 2015 15:25:30 UTC Menu Patterns
Hey!

Has anyone got a suggestion for a sensible way of implementing a menu/selection system in Pico-8? I'm putting together a minigame collection, and trying to keep the code readable when everything has to share the same space (e.g. the init/update/draw loops) is proving a challenge!

Thanks y'all!
https://www.lexaloffle.com/bbs/?tid=2418 https://www.lexaloffle.com/bbs/?tid=2418 Sat, 05 Sep 2015 04:17:32 UTC
