sta64 [Lexaloffle Blog Feed] Screen Mode Hack for Pico8 (Up to 4 screen-resolutions!)
Hey guys!

I was messing around with Pico and I've discovered a total of 6 new screen modes!! Please check
the GIF attached to see them in action. Some of them are sort of screen effects (mirror) but the others include
2x1 aspect ratio, 64 x 64 pixels and so on. I am so excited about this. I think this could change the look and feel of many games and makes Pico feel like the Amstrad CPC, C64 or other retro computers. I hope this is a feature and not a bug :)

I will post a cartridge soon.

Fri, 02 Oct 2015 14:43:22 UTC Tiled2Pico-8 Exporter/Importer + Sprite editor
[[ Last post contains the new version ]]

Hi guys!

How are you doing? It's great to see the Forum so active and so many people making and sharing great games, emulators, music, etc... I think it's time to make more tools :) I am working on a sprite editor that will be compatible with Pico-8. I made a little GIF so you can see it in action.

I am open to any suggestions, so please let me know what you think and what you would like to see in future versions :) Cheers

Esteban
Sun, 13 Sep 2015 15:43:25 UTC Sprite / Tilemap importer for Unity
Hi guys!

First of all, great forum :) I really enjoy playing the games people are making with Pico.
I coded a little graphics importer for Unity3d that might be useful to keep going with
Pico8 projects after gamejams, etc ... You can see a video of it in action here :

[vine][/vine]
Pico8 - Unity

Who knows? Maybe this is the beginning of a .p8 reader / player for the Unity engine :)
Probably there is no need for this because Pico8 itself is made with LibSdl 2 and it should be
ok to port it to other systems and have multiplatform players etc ... What do you think?
Mon, 31 Aug 2015 11:01:50 UTC
