This is a game I made for the fun of making it. It's bad and short. It's about Bert Sampson getting his sports.
Good luck figuring it out.
A big thank you to Lenstar Productions for their inspiring game, Bart Bash.
Uploaded for the Pico-8 Discord to have a look at. A very WIP thing I've been trying to turn into a game concept for a month now.

A short litttle "game" about a roomba in a decaying world. I made it while thinking about the short story, There Will Come Soft Rains, by Ray Bradbury. In this game there's really nothing to do but watch it happen. You control the Roomba, but that's it.
Description
It's snake, but fancy looking! Eat the apples and help the snake grow.

Left Key and Right Key to change the angle of your snake. O Key and X Key in menus to select options.
Version
The current version is 1.0.2 and features the following changes:

Testing out some ideas.
Just the barest bits of the beginning of a game here. Uses the mouse to aim, Z to shoot.
Just a lot of map stuff done here. You can also collect a Health Up item, but that's it.
The first dungeon is complete and can be played to the end. The boss is fully finished and gives you the boss item as well. Crates can now be pushed by walking into them, in addition to the existing slash-to-move functionality.
The first dungeon is all but done. You can collect bombs, use them and fight an almost-finished version of the first boss. Hold the X button to see a summary/item select screen.
Very little has changed here, but the effort put into understanding the math that makes bullets target you was monumental.
More work put in..
Still working on some stuff, but the layout of the first dungeon is in and waiting to be finished.
A lot more is functional in this, but it's still pretty empty. Flip() is a cool thing.
A bit of a Zelda-esque thing in progress. I've mostly spent time setting up the systems that will support the game, so it's basically an empty box right now.
My computer recently died and I lost a substantial amount of work on this game. I may return to this at some point, but it's unlikely.
I'm gonna have to change up how the gun works to preserve framerate, but that's okay.
The basic bones of the game are here. It needs more to be fun, but we're off to a decent start, I think.
I recently played Hybris (or is it Hibrys, I can never remember) and was extremely impressed by the gameplay and graphics. This is definitely inspired by it. Right now it's super unfinished, but the end goal is to be a game where you clear out randomly placed infestations from a giant facility.
Description
The soul of the Moon has been stolen and imprisoned. Guide it to freedom!
Instructions
Directional keys to move.
O key to dash. While dashing, you are invulnerable to spikes and can smash some things.
Version
The current version is 1.1 and features the following changes:
+added corruption toggle in the menu, as is tradition
-changed the placement of the moongates to require 4 keys for the alternate ending
All previously published versions can be found Here.

Well, here's 1.0. Barring any bugfixes or additions, the game's done.
This is almost done. A little more work on the map and a proper beginning and ending and I think I'll be ready to call it complete. You can actually collect the goal objects in this version, and use them.
After a lot of doing nothing, I sat down and got a lot done on this. There's actually some stuff to do in this one, but it's all super basic. In addition, I tried to make a more "dynamic" camera but what I've got isn't exactly great. You can toggle it in the menu. If you know a better way to do what I tried to do, let me know.
I've been playing a lot of Hollow Knight and I like the visuals. This is a bit of a tribute, in that sense. But I think I can make some fun things with this idea.
Super early test.
Description
This is a game for 2-4 people where you try to be the last one alive. Avoid the spikes, keep moving up and shoot your friends before they shoot you!
Controls
D-Pad - Move/Aim
O - Jump
X - Shoot
You can hold two bullets at once. Bullets can be aimed down to jump.
Changelog
+release
Just a way to get back into Pico-8 and hopefully make myself more motivated. the buttons are boost and brake, respectively.
This is much like the original, essentially just more of it with some new mechanics.
I don't know if I'll ever work more on this. I'm kind of in a rut.
A little gardening toy. Uses the mouse.
Plant flowers and other plant-type things, water them and sell them to plant bigger and better stuff once they're grown.
Feedback would be great. I have no idea where I'm going with this.
Tweaked some stuff, added some visual effects. Players now get a score multiplier when they spear multiple vegetables in one charge, and I need to think of a good way to represent that.
Edit:
This project is unlikely to be finished, as I spent long enough away from it that the code is now difficult for me to understand. Maybe I'll have a stab at this later.
Added some new veggies and reworked how shadows display. I think I'm gonna make a few more vegetable variants and then work on visual effects.
A game about killing evil veggies. Charge up your spear and charge fearlessly into battle.
This is a VERY early version of it, but I like to upload frequently. So here it is. Please let me know what you think!
Description
This is my platformer in the style of classic Mario games. I called it Platformer Base because I can't think of a good name. Play as the guy with the green helmet, jump on robots and stop their evil machinations once and for all!
Instructions
The game is fairly simple. Jump on the robots with O, and make it to the end of the stages. You can play them in any order you like.

The current version is 1.2 and features the following changes:
+Added a flag that prevents autojumping
+Added SFX that can be toggled on and off

Some more testing.
Just a test.
Just a test of some new platforming bits.
Another test.
Another little test.
Just another test of some platforming stuff.
Just a test of some platforming stuff.
The King Wants Gems! is my take on puzzle gem games, the whole Bejeweled, Puzzle Quest thing. The goal is to chain gems together to get the required amount of each. Longer chains award special gems while short ones give you unusable gems. If you go poking through the code you'll see that it's a terrible mess. I had much bigger ambitions for this when I started, but I wanted to get it done before February and I'm just not interested in it anymore. I hope you enjoy it.
I do consider this my best-looking game to date.
Golf Toy
My take on mini golf. Featuring simultaneous 4 player gameplay across 4 course of 8 stages. Definitely my most polished, complete work to date.
Controls
Directional Keys: Move your target.
Z: Hit the ball towards the target.
X: Outline your ball.
The farther the target is from your ball, the faster the ball will move towards it.
1.1 Update
This update adds modifiers to gameplay, on top of some polish and minor additions.
Standard: Target and shoot as normal. Classic style.
Sliders: Adds sliders to shooting. For those who want a challenge.
Roll: Instead of targeting and shooting, use the directional keys to roll the ball. A unique way to play.
Sparkle: Your ball will have a sparkly trail when moving. Flashy.
In this version, the game now stores your high score and course completion between courses.
And some other stuff.

I like to test on my friends and family, so a lot of different versions are inside that thread.
