I’m a video game producer working in commercial game development, and in my free time I make small solo projects.

Lately, I’ve been especially drawn to PICO-8. I like its limitations and the way they force you to think about game design, visuals, and the core idea of a game all at once.

For now, I’m learning the tool through a simple exercise: taking games from the very beginning of video game history, recreating them in PICO-8, and figuring out what still works, what feels outdated, and how those ideas can be reimagined today.

I recreated Pong, but decided to add a bit more color and juice to the original formula.
