I also managed to get stuck. One I could not backtrack from HERE ^^
Music is a bit repetition. Suggest shadow appear as normal when jumping pit except when plotting in the area of pit, just have it solid black with no shadow to give image of greater depth and danger.
Ball and eye(s) could roll when moving left and right. Let me see your sprites ... OK, how about this or just use 4-of them ?
As you are only drawing a small area for the eye, you could create the "eye" in an 8x8 field saving sprite space and then just record the exact coordinates inside the single red sphere where they are to appear and in what animation frame.
Wow, I just love the graphics here. So simple, but it just looks great. I really like how you use a 16pix sprite base, but you offset the camera from the walls by 8 pixels to get yourself a little more room on the playfield - I never felt like you were crunched for space. I got realy "mole mania" vibes from this - really well done!
