First of all, I love that the music doesn't reset when you first start the game! So many people make great title tracks but you can never hear the rest of the song! And does it seamlessly switch into the boss music? Awesome. The music overall is great.
I like that items don't disappear, it's nice to be able to store hearts in rooms and come back later to grab them if needed. That being said it did seem a bit too easy and would be nice if there were more enemies or harder ones.
I never found a second item - did I miss something?

I really liked what your going for, but I really think that the enemy's should have been harder. Especially the bosses, who are laughable at best. Still great game and a great idea, just needs more variety.
Good, @TylerRDavis, but wow does it really start over from the absolute beginning when you die ? The original Legend Of Zelda at least put you back in the level of the dungeon you were.
Also consider SAVING the game with DSET() ? Just 2-digits for the level could be sufficient.
