Recently, I completed make a game which made by pico-8. And released!
But since then, there has been no reaction from overseas people.
I've been trying my best to translate English, but I'm sad that perhaps English player no one plays.
Is there anything wrong?
I would be happy if you could get any comments.

I played your ‘beta’ version and I liked the game (albeit very chaotic at times)

This being said I didn’t think I was missing out on anything, so I certainly wouldn’t pay $4.99 to play the full version

I do wonder what market your aiming it at though, as this is the first I’ve heard of it, and the only post on this forum I can find about it... surely your target market would be the pico-8 fanbase

Don’t get me wrong tho, its a good game and better than anything I could ever dream of making

My guess is you are having a marketing problem. How are you advertising your game? Simply releasing a game won't necessarily generate interest on it.

At first, I wasn't thinking of selling it, so the marketing might not have been enough.

And I thought that if I uploaded the game to itch.io, many English talking people would see it.

I once wrote an introductory note on BBS, but since I didn't receive any reply in long time, I deleted it this time...

I am in a similar position to you and have similar concerns.
This is the method I'm trying right now.
You can give 10 tags on itch.io.
I use itch's "analytics" to determine which of these tags are valid, and then select the ones I want to leave behind.

I find it more effective to have both general tags that are broadly relevant to the game, as well as tags with niche attributes.

Tags that may be effective include "witch", "Female Protagonist", "monstergirl"
( Some may think they're not! )

Also, I looked at the itch.io's analysis page and reviewed some tags that were not accessed.

Try getting someone to showcase your game. Perhaps you could try sending keys to youtubers and streamers that have channels themed around indie games and such.
