This is so amazing!!!! The overly load music connected to keygens was in a long forgotten part of my brain. Funniest nostalgia I have felt in a long time. Thank you for this :)
@pixelperfect It's just for the song. Back in the day, keygens used to come w banger chiptunes built into them. Often, the keygens didn't work bc the program u were trying to crack had been patched or whatever so the chiptune was like a consolation for your time if it was good, lol. It was also easy to pick up malware like BonziBuddy if u weren't careful. This is a little tribute to all that
I love how full-sounding and energetic this song is. It sounded like you used 8 channels instead of just 4! It also inspired me to check out a keygen music playlist on youtube; I never pirate stuff, so I had no idea this (sort of) subgenre existed. Finally, I understand the meaning of the deltarune track KEYGEN...
