Hi All!
Myself and a buddy made a game for the Global Game Jam, first time using Pico-8.

The theme of the jam was "Ritual" and we decided to focus on your morning rituals before you go to work.

It's a little rough around the edges but would love to hear what you thought.

This is fun!

A few glitches with the text, the first letter keeps getting cut off.

Also when I was making breakfast after getting better at it the value wasn't floored before being rendered so I was getting numbers like 1.5 and -0.5. It didn't break the game though.

Never noticed the text issue so I'll need to go check that but yeah, we didn't floor that value, I didn't even think at the time!

This game has a nice touch! The breakfast could have one second more or less so after getting better, the half function wouldn't "break".

I don't know if that was on propose, but Guss can walk out of the map from the backyard.
