Heya Picotronners.

Idea popped up for implementing git into picotron, which I now know is a massive task, but the idea was shared by Abledbody with the fact that "Maybe with enough people picking at the prerequisite parts we'll find ourselves with a full stack one day.".

Abledbody themselves have actually made an SHA1 hashing function which is one of the things for git.

(unsure if it's posted elsewhere, but can be found in the picotron discord here: https://canary.discord.com/channels/1068899948592107540/1497749501232943245)

Abledbody attempted this git system in the past and realised how hard it would be.

Posting this to see if anyone is into that sorta thing, maybe we could get some stuff together that can be used together for git without using an external tool!

I also gave the option for people to use my server as a proxy for git, if that's possible (I'm NOT very smart with git.). Would allow for some https server to be hosted and if the code is provided, convert whatever you're sending into normal git behaviour and let you pull/post to git without leaving Picotron (not the best approach but if anyone wants that as something before real git is implemented natively, option is there).

dootnoot in the discord figured some stuff out about zlib uncompressed version? aslong as it never ever touched the other zlib formats (which it will if any other os zlib..) it would work!

but also had the thought that i could try, like with that git_proxy idea, set something up where you can post a .p64 or something, figure out how to securely pop credentials alongside, and then it would post it to https://git.astralsparv.cc/ (since I have control over that and would be able to do all the stuff myself incase there's anything i need to modify git-side)
