Organize medical ingredients and complete recipes to heal some friends in mini pharma!
This is a small arcade puzzler I made in 9 days for the Falling Block Jam 2025! The optional theme was "Analog Memory", and this is why the people you help will give you beads as tokens of appreciation for your performance!
Ingredients come continuously from the top of the screen and you have to organize them to fill in recipes at the bottom of the screen. Completing the recipes continuously (no more than 2 gravity steps between ingredients) will get you better quality beads as thanks!
The gameover total score is calculated as follows: for each vial you completed, you gain 'level X bead quality (1/2/3/4)'. Reaching levels 4, 8, 12 and 16 will unlock difficulties to select on the title screen. (use 'reset cart' in the pause menu to go back to title screen)
You can also adjust the screenshake, the input repeat delay and interval (DAS and AAR) and change the side-wall tiles to your preference in the pause menu.
This game can also be found on Itch! We'll certainly use it as a prototype for a future PUNKCAKE release! Feedback is more than welcome! :)

I played this for a moment last night but not enough to really come to a point where I think I like it or not and still not there today, but I did want to comment early on that the concept is interesting and even though it's 'out there', I was able to figure out what was going on simply by smashing the controller around. I'm not sure what kind of emergent situations will arise with this style of puzzle, but the claustraphobia is top notch. I don't think I've ever felt a bigger need to 'GET THESE BLOCKS OUTTA HERE RIGHT NOW!' than this game.

I added a very quick tutorial just now because I know the controls can be confusing, especially since you can do everything with just one of them (swap, push or carry) but you need to understand and use all of them to play better. Hopefully this makes the game easier to delve into!
