Well I am now 99% complete my Pico-8 version of Mr. Robot and His Robot Factory. I loved this game back in the day when it was new on my Commodore 64 and now here is a Pico-8 version for everybody to enjoy. I can't believe I am right at the limit of the Pico-8 memory and made it fit. barely.
It is complete, although I have about 6 more levels to draw still and my trampoline login needs some love. I doubt very much that I will fix the trampoline login since the levels with trampolines were difficult to make work just like the original due to the limitation in screen width. Regardless I think I got the general look and feel of the original game pretty close, and the sounds aren't too bad either.

The factory:

There is no real built-in 'Robot Factory' like the original game, but hey this is a Pico-8 cartridge: I created this so you only have to edit the levels maps and that's all, you do not need to edit any code whatsoever to make your own levels, so there are 32 levels in total and many in the end are empty (for now).
Feel free to edit the maps (just follow the rules I left on the first code page, simple stuff like; only include 1 player image on each 16x16 map and be sure to draw the levels properly using the sprites provided. Also try to avoid levels on the top 2 rows as that is where the score and times are displayed, it make sit ugly if you place levels there.

Enjoy! and please don't ask me to fix the trampoline logic, the game is plenty playable with it as is. besides, I doubt I can shrink the code much more to get room to fix it.
Please send me posts with your versions if you have any cool levels created I would love to play them and maybe include them in a Mr Robot 2.

I missed this one back in the day but I would have loved it. Great work.
