Wondering which mini handheld (the ~3" screen variety) people have had good luck with for running PICO8. The fewer hoops to get setup the better. I'm not married to any brand per se but it'd be great if it was hovering around the $50 mark.

I've been playing Pico8 carts with a Miyoo Mini Plus under Onion OS. Easy to set up, WiFi support so you can just copy p8s across. Nice little machine!

I recently purchased a miyoo mini plus and wanted to add that it's been a joy to use. I'm using Onion OS as well and it runs pico-8 via an emulator called fake8. There is another handheld which runs Pico8 natively called the PowKiddy. I think LazyDevs recommended it in the past.

I've got the PowKiddy RGB30 and yes, it runs PICO-8 natively. I like it.
